It is Anti-Bullying Week at Ranby House and our children are well prepared!

We launched Anti-Bullying week at our whole school assembly on Monday and class 4E continued the theme at our Chapel service this morning. Our pupils have been learning about thoughts and actions that would be considered as bullying and those that might not be.

They have been looking carefully at real-life scenarios to consider if bullying is occurring or not; it is harder than it looks! Our students have a much better understanding of what bullying is and what to do if it occurs in school or out of school. They understand that bullying can be words and actions and can happen face to face or online (cyberbullying).

Students have also learned some strategies to use when they feel uncomfortable and that bullying in any format must not be kept secret.

Have a look at our anti-bullying display in the main entrance of the school, as part of your next visit.
