It’s safe to say that the planning and organisation paid off last night, as the Worksop College Bonfire and Fireworks Display went off with a bang.
Students, staff, family and friends were treated to a roaring bonfire, which was a welcome distraction from the November chill.

A delicious BBQ, with locally-sourced sausages, British beef burgers, Quorn burgers and sausages - and for the sweet-toothed: toffee apples, chocolate apples, ginger parkin and creamy hot chocolate were available throughout the evening.
Our Worksop College Parents’ Association and Ranby Parents’ Group hosted a stall selling sweets and glow products.
1st Galaxy Fireworks were back for the second year running and they didn’t disappoint. The crowd were in awe of the fantastic 20-minute fireworks display.
Oliver Simms, a PGA teaching professional from neighbouring College Pines Golf Club, said:
“Congratulations to all at Worksop College who put on a wonderful bonfire party. Great bonfire, fireworks and food.”
