Worksop and Ranby swimmers took to the Nottinghamshire ASA County Championship Finals 2022, which wrapped up on Sunday evening. The swimming team made the school immensely proud, not just with their outstanding results, but their sheer effort and determination. Their hard work has clearly paid off.

First to take to the water was Euan, Year 9, who left the competition with some brilliant results. Not only did he achieve a bronze in the 200 individual medley, but he managed to win gold in the 100 freestyle. If you think this is impressive, Euan came first overall in the entirety of his age goup. Amazing work, Euan!

Next to dive in was Charlotte, Year 8, who has dedicated her mornings to training with the Worksop Dolphins here at the college. Charlotte took to the pool to compete in the 100 freestyle.

All of her hard work has clearly paid off, as she managed to secure a bronze medal. Incredible effort, Charlotte.

Ranby House pupil, Raymond, very impressively achieved a silver medal through his efforts in the 100 freestyle. Not only this, but he managed to come 2nd place overall within his age range. Fantastic Job, Ray!

Next up was Jake, Year 10, who impressively won first place in the 100 freestyle. Jake also placed second overall in his age group - extremely impressive!

Next up is year 9 pupil Max, who managed to secure first place in the 100 freestyle.

Well done Max - this medal is well deserved!

Finally, Isobelle, Year 5, achieved silver in the 200 individual medley. Furthermore, she came second overall in her age group of 10/11.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers - it is clear that hours of hard work has gone in to get these results.
