Modern boarding is very different today from the experience of those who boarded perhaps 30 years ago. Gone are the pokey hallways and rows of beds - replaced with light airy spaces that feature all the comforts of modern living. We offer boarding right from age seven and from occasional, through to full boarding - with flexibility to fit in with busy family life.

Day Extra – New for September 2025
From September 2025, all day pupils will benefit from our new Day Extra model, which includes seven complimentary boarding nights per year (3 in Autumn, 2 in Spring, 2 in Summer). This gives families added flexibility and allows pupils to stay after rehearsals, prepare for fixtures, or enjoy House activities.
Day pupils also benefit from a dedicated space in their House, strong pastoral support, and full access to the boarding experience.
Optional Boarding Packages
-
10 nights for the price of 9
-
5 nights for the price of 4
Nights can be booked flexibly across the academic year via House staff or the Bursary (subject to availability).
Flexi Boarding
Flexi boarding offers the ultimate in flexibility. Ideal for families with changing schedules, this option allows pupils to stay on-site for one or more nights a week as needed – whether it’s to avoid a long commute, accommodate an early sports fixture, or simply spend more time with friends. Flexi boarders enjoy all the benefits of boarding life, with none of the long-term commitment.
Weekly Boarding
Weekly boarding is a popular choice for families who want the structure, support, and enrichment of boarding life during the week, while still enjoying weekends at home. Pupils stay from Monday to Friday, giving them time to focus on academic work, participate in activities, and form strong friendships – returning home for valuable family time at the weekend.
Full Boarding
Our full boarding provision offers a rich and vibrant 7-day-a-week experience. With a busy programme of weekend trips, activities, and social events, our full boarders are never short of things to do. Supported by caring House staff and surrounded by friends, pupils develop independence, resilience, and a strong sense of community that lasts a lifetime.
