We are proud to be a broad-ability school, meaning every child has their own set of skills and abilities. We know that what works well for one child, may not work for another, so we base our teaching around caring for the student as an individual.
Our school is equipped with a small but dedicated SEN team, along with a supportive school community. Teaching at Worksop College is designed to ensure the best possible outcome for our students, whatever their circumstance.
Pupils have every opportunity to thrive at Worksop College – should a student be struggling, our structure enables speedy interventions. We also take pride in our strong pastoral care and small classroom sizes.
We also have a small number of teaching assistants available to support children who may require a little extra support.
The principal aim of our school is to provide a stimulating, challenging and caring environment, allowing every child to develop to their full potential - educationally, physically and socially.
In essence - if we think we can support, we will.
