Last Wednesday, Worksop College played Scarborough College in the Independent School Golf Association (ISGA) Senior match play regional semi-finals, away at South Cliff Golf Club.
Anti-bullying week is held every November, with the aim of raising awareness of bullying amongst young people. This ultimate aim from raising awareness, is to reduce bullying online and in school.

After a two-year hiatus, Worksop College could finally host its annual Fireworks Night.
Each month, Father Matthew displays a different 'Brain Expander', each one designed to be thought-provoking for our students. This month, to mark Black History Month, the brain expander is based on the Harriet Tubman stamp.
It’s the final week of Black History Month, and the mark the occasion we wanted to take some time to reflect on some hidden figures in the history of Science. These scientists may have been neglected the recognition they deserve, but were important pioneers in the development of our understanding of science. These people are just some of many who deserve to be brought to our attention.
Last week, Worksop College won the ISA Midlands swimming gala at Walsall and, in the process, had a number of swimmers qualify for the next stage.
Last week, our golfers played brilliantly against Repton in the second round of HMC foursomes.
As part of Black History Month, our students were asked to write poems with 'Sit In and Stand Up: Non-Violent Protests for Civil Rights' in mind. While an anthology of poems will be coming in due course, one poem particularly stood out to us. Henry, Year 8, wrote this incredible piece - we just had to share it.
Last week, Anya very impressively won the show pony lead rein class at the 2021 Horse of the Year Show. While this is already an outstanding achievement, the most impressive factor is that Anya is only six years old!
