Ranging from creating an animated film to robot wars, there is something for everyone.

Animations on the theme of keeping safe online can win prizes in a special eSafety category sponsored by BCS, The Chartered Institute of IT. Get creative! The competition has several categories for individuals or group entries and covers pupils aged 7-19.

Cyber Centurion

This will be the first time running the competition for the School. Groups of four students aged 12-18 will compete as a team in a series of online qualifying rounds on a series of challenges learning about networking, defence and cyber security.

The highest scoring teams will be invited to the final to compete live in London and potentially win prizes. Anyone who is interested (they do not have to be studying Computer Science) please get in contact with Caroline White before the deadline. They can be already in a team or individual or part of a team.

Last year there were some fantastic results, with several students making it to the second round. It is a computational thinking competition that is run during lesson time as the first round is online. Top students get invited to Oxford Uni for the final round of challenges.
