Students embark on a caving adventure
Last week, during Wednesday afternoon games, a group of our students embarked on a caving adventure to ‘Bagshaw Cavern’ in the Peak District, accompanied by Teacher of Biology, Mr. Gwynne.

Calling all Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 students!
Last Friday saw the ‘Digital Sisters’ visit Worksop College & Ranby House to host a number of workshops that gave our students a further insight into staying safe online, tech control and digital well-being.
Year 9 student, Alicia Barrett took part in the IAME X30 Karting World Championships and won the ladies category.
Yesterday saw Lancaster University pay a visit to Worksop College to give our students an insight into university life.
It’s safe to say that the planning and organisation paid off last night, as the Worksop College Bonfire and Fireworks Display went off with a bang.
This week our Year 5 and 6 pupils spent the morning at Worksop College to experience what life is like at senior school.
Our Year 10 History students have been busy working in groups on five original Great War photographs and five Great War artefacts, which were brought in by our very own Head of Sixth Form, Mr. Nick Kitchen, from his personal collection.
Old Worksopian, Tom Sorsby has recently returned from Malaysia, after playing for Great Britain U21’s Hockey team in the Sultan of Johor Cup.
It was a tense morning, as 50 of our students took on the Senior Maths Challenge.
On Friday 3 November, we welcomed 70 young players to our one-day hockey camp.
